Profile:

By testing the insulation resistance of different components in the system (transformers, switchgear, wires, motors), faulty components can be isolated and repaired.

The use of insulation testing to verify the insulation between the test sample and the ground or between adjacent conductors is of great significance for ensuring product quality and personal and equipment safety during operation.

Before powering up the system, use insulation testing to verify its soundness and improve its performance; Insulation testing can detect manufacturing process issues and equipment defects, which are generally not detected before equipment failure occurs. In the European Union, this test is mandatory, even for civilian systems.

In insulation testing, the insulation resistance value at a certain moment cannot reflect the quality of the insulation performance of the test sample. This is because insulation materials with the same performance exhibit lower insulation resistance when the volume is large, and higher insulation resistance when the volume is small; After applying high voltage, insulating materials undergo processes of charge absorption ratio and polarization. Therefore, the power system requires that the absorption ratio (ratio of R60s to R15s) and polarization index (ratio of R10min to R1min) be measured in insulation tests for multiple occasions such as main transformers, cables, and motors, in order to determine the quality of insulation conditions.

Absorption ratio and polarization index

In the same experiment, the ratio of the insulation resistance value at 60 seconds to the insulation resistance value at 15 seconds (R60S/R15S) is called the absorption ratio.

In the same experiment, the ratio of the insulation resistance value at 10 minutes to the insulation resistance value at 1 minute (R10min/R1min) is called the polarization index.

Features:

1. Multi level testing voltage: 1000V, 2500V, 5000V, 10000V.

2. Measure insulation resistance up to 2T Ω.

3. The insulation resistance value is displayed digitally on a 31/2LCD.

4. Automatic range conversion for insulation resistance measurement, easy to read.

5. Measure the current ambient temperature.

6. Automatic timing function, the instrument buzzer beeps briefly every 15 seconds.

7. Automatically measure, calculate, and store R15S, R60S, R600S, absorption ratio, and polarization index values.

8. The output short-circuit current is greater than 3mA, meeting the requirements for fast charging of capacitive loads.

9. Strong anti-interference ability, stable and reliable readings.

10. Complete protection functions ensure operational safety.

11. Rechargeable lithium battery power supply, automatically shuts down when the battery is low.
