Profile:

Partial Discharge Detector – Advanced Insulation Diagnostics for Power Equipment

The Partial Discharge Detector is a high-sensitivity, portable instrument designed for the detection and analysis of partial discharge in high-voltage electrical equipment. Utilizing digital signal processing and multi-frequency amplification, it delivers accurate and reliable measurement of discharge levels as low as 0.2pC, enabling early identification of insulation defects in transformers, power cables, GIS, and switchgear.

Featuring a clear LCD display, selectable waveform modes (elliptical, linear, sine), and dual-window time-gating, the detector ensures precise fault localization and strong noise immunity. With a wide capacitance range (6pF–250μF) and flexible frequency band selection, it is ideal for factory testing, field commissioning, preventive maintenance, and laboratory research.

Compact, robust, and user-friendly, the Partial Discharge Detector provides a powerful solution for ensuring the reliability and safety of critical power assets.

Features:

Product Features:

After digital processing of partial discharge signals, liquid crystal displays are used instead of traditional oscilloscope displays.

The operation is the same as traditional analog partial discharge testing instruments, simple and easy to learn.

Free selection of ellipse, line, and sine display modes

By using digital window opening technology, interference can be avoided from affecting the measurement.

Open windows at any phase, choose single or double windows, and rotate the ellipse 150 degrees.

It can freeze and save the current discharge map, and observe and analyze partial discharge pulses statically.

The current discharge map can be saved to achieve traceability of test results.

Parameter:

1. Amplifier frequency band:

① Low end: Choose from 10kHz, 20kHz, or 40kHz.
② High end: 80kHz, 200kHz, 300kHz optional.

2. Amplifier gain adjustment:
Roughly adjust to six levels, with a gain of 20 ± 1dB between levels; finely adjust to a range of ≥ 20dB.

3. Time window:
① Window width: adjustable range of 15 °~150 °;
② Window position: Each window can rotate from 0 ° to 170 °;
③ Two time windows can be opened separately or simultaneously.

4. Discharge gauge:
Digital header: displayed on a 3 1/2 LED digital meter;
0-100.0 error<± 5% (measured at full scale).

5. Elliptical Time Base:
