Profile:

Designed on MURRAY bridge principle, this device integrates HV constant current source and balanced bridge, with DC withstand voltage, fault burning and pre-location functions. It features high voltage, light weight and safe operation, ideal for cable insulation fault testing and positioning.

Features:

  1. Adopts switching power supply to form a high-voltage constant current source with stable performance and high sensitivity amplifier for bridge balance indication.
  2. 4-terminal resistance measurement method with specially designed double-core HV rubber test cable eliminates lead resistance error.
  3. Bridge module is placed at high potential while panel knobs are at ground potential, operated via insulating rod for high safety.
  4. Integrates HV constant current source and bridge in a portable industrial plastic case, featuring light weight and easy operation.
  5. Maintains electric arc at flashover breakdown points with stable current for high bridge sensitivity during testing.
  6. Identifies unbroken cables with low insulation resistance that do not breakdown under operating voltage.
  7. Matches with wave reflection method and locator for faster and more reliable fault positioning with complementary advantages.
