This torsion tester is specially designed to evaluate the durability of optical cables and wires and cables under repeated mechanical torsion and complies with the national standard GB/T 7424.2 Method E7. The equipment can set the torsion angle (± 180 °, 360 ° in total), test times (999999 times at most) and frequency (10-60 times/minute). It is matched with the adjustable test space (180 – 610mm) and standard weights to accurately simulate the torsion load in actual use. It is applicable to cable manufacturing, communication, quality inspection and R&D and other scenes to effectively detect the attenuation change of optical fiber and the risk of sheath damage.
