Recently, our after-sales service team provided emergency technical support for a lightning impulse testing system at a customer site.
During operation, the control system of the impulse generator experienced abnormalities, preventing normal voltage boosting, triggering, and test control. Meanwhile, communication between the system and digital oscilloscope was interrupted, causing failure in waveform acquisition.
Our engineers performed a comprehensive inspection of the control system, communication circuits, trigger modules, and data acquisition unit, quickly identifying the causes and completing system repair, component maintenance, and calibration.
After on-site commissioning, communication between the impulse generator, control system, and measurement system was fully restored. Waveform acquisition and data recording functions returned to normal, allowing the equipment to resume testing operations.
