The KDHG-518B Variable Frequency Current Transformer Comprehensive Tester requires only simple digital settings: setting the rated parameters of the current transformer. The instrument automatically records data throughout the process and automatically calculates and displays the transformation ratio, polarity, volt-ampere characteristic curves, etc., eliminating the tedious work of changing wires, manually adjusting voltage, manually recording, organizing, and plotting curves.

It meets the testing requirements of various CTs (such as protection, metering, and TP types) for excitation characteristics (i.e., volt-ampere characteristics), transformation ratio, polarity, secondary winding resistance, secondary load, ratio difference, and phase angle difference, and can also be used for testing the excitation characteristics, transformation ratio, polarity, and secondary winding resistance of various PT electromagnetic units.

2. Automatically provides CT parameters including inflection point voltage/current, 10% (5%) error curve, accuracy limit factor (ALF), instrument safety factor (FS), secondary time constant (Ts), remanence coefficient (Kr), and saturated and unsaturated inductance.

3. Meets various instrument transformer standards such as GB1208 (IEC60044-1), GB16847 (IEC60044-6), and GB1207, and automatically selects the appropriate standard based on the instrument transformer type and level.

4. Based on the low-frequency testing principle, it can handle CT tests with inflection points as high as 40KV and above.
