When testing the insulation resistance of large capacity power equipment, the insulation resistance value is related to the duration of pressurization. The longer the pressurization time, the higher the insulation resistance value. This phenomenon is called insulation absorption. To understand the insulation performance of the test sample, it is necessary to first conduct absorption ratio and polarization index tests to provide safety guarantees for the next insulation performance tests such as leakage, dielectric loss, partial discharge, etc. Our company has specially launched the KD305 insulation resistance tester in accordance with the power standardization regulations, to conduct insulation, absorption ratio, polarization index withstand voltage leakage tests on power equipment, providing accurate preliminary judgments for a series of insulation tests.

Due to the direct impact of charging current on the insulation value testing of high-capacity capacitive samples, a large charging current is required. The stronger the charging ability, the closer the absorption ratio test value is to the true value. The short-circuit current of KD305Y is greater than 5mA, overcoming the drawbacks of small short-circuit current, inaccurate testing, and susceptibility to interference of ordinary megohmmeters. KD305 adopts timely voltage and current sampling for division operation, so even if the voltage changes during testing, the resistance value calculated by Ohm's theorem is accurate.

The KD305Y insulation resistance tester adopts a microcontroller control process, human-machine interface dialogue, easy to carry, and simple to operate; Equipped with high-performance and high-capacity rechargeable batteries, it can be used for both AC and DC, and is equipped with undervoltage protection and battery overcharge protection.
