Profile:

When the trace moisture exceeds the standard severely, it may cause moisture or condensation in the insulation components of the switch, greatly reducing its insulation performance. Due to the decomposition of SF6 by electric arc, toxic gases such as HF, SO2, SOF2 are produced, which can cause corrosion to metal and insulation components, and the presence of moisture can exacerbate the corrosion. Therefore, trace moisture has been widely valued as a test item for SF6 switchgear before leaving the factory and being put into operation. Monitoring the gas density and micro water content of SF6 high-voltage electrical equipment has always been an important component of equipment monitoring in related industries.
