It is a specialized instrument used for testing the electrical performance of zinc oxide surge arresters in power plants, substations, and other sites or laboratories. The instrument can accurately and stably measure parameters such as the resistive current of the lightning arrester and the action of the monitor counter while the equipment is in operation, and can calibrate the ammeter of the monitor. In order to promptly detect dangerous defects such as moisture damage to the internal insulation of the equipment and aging of valve plates.

The instrument is easy to operate and use, and the entire measurement process is controlled by an industrial computer. It can measure the full current, resistive current and its harmonics, power frequency reference voltage and its harmonics, active power and phase difference of zinc oxide lightning arrester. The large screen can display the real waveforms of voltage and current. The instrument uses digital waveform analysis technology and anti-interference methods such as harmonic analysis and digital filtering software to ensure accurate and stable measurement results. It can accurately analyze the content of fundamental waves and 3-7th harmonics, and overcome the influence of phase to phase interference to correctly measure the resistive current of edge phase lightning arresters.
